At the mouth of the river
An in-person nature-process therapy group
What we'll do
Humans are tuned for relationship. The eyes, the skin, the tongue, ears, and nostrils--all are gates where our body receives the nourishment of otherness.
~ David Abram
These are times of trembling change. Amongst the growing ecological, political, and financial pressures, we're also each holding the threads of our own personal stories of change. How do we find solace? How do we find the strength to meet our own human life in these bewildering times? If you're like most, your suffering in these times is all-too-often a most personal suffering. An isolating and numbing suffering.Yet connections between us enable us to tap into our inherent resilience. And the relentless, uncracked container of the wild natural world around us cradles our togetherness if only we dare open our senses.Let's gather and discover what support can arise for our struggles when opening to the enlivening, soothing hum of nature.Through dialogue, listening, and creative exchanges, with ourselves and with the more-than-human world, we will explore our capacity to create space both within ourselves and out in the great whirling spiral of life... space for voicing--and hearing--what otherwise goes unspoken.
